INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION OF HONDA TYPE
INJECTORS IN 2000 SERIES MANIFOLDS

Assembly notes for adapting Denso injectors to Bosch style:

1. First remove the injectors from the stock manifold.

2. Check the small black fuel filters on the end of each injector to make sure they are clean and still intact.

3. Use the supplied piece of Scotchbrite® to clean the carbon build up off the nose of the injector. This surface must be free of debris to insure a snug and leak free fit.

4. Slip the supplied rubber o-ring onto each of the injector as shown in the picture to the right. The stepped side should point in the same direction as the injector outlet.

5. Carefully fit each injector into the fuel rail. Caution must be used to prevent the o-ring from breaking. Use a small amount of motor oil to assist in slipping the upper o-ring into the fuel rail. Each injector should bottom on the small fuel filter on the end of the injector. As shown to the right.

6. Once all four injectors have been installed, carefully install the fuel rail with injectors onto the manifold.

7. Fasten each of the four screws used to hold the fuel rail onto the manifold with a small amount of Loctite®.
