Throttle Bodies

These throttle bodies are supplied with a center compensating linkage which connects the two throttle shafts allowing adjustment for balance.

TWM 2910 Series throttle bodies are the left-hand unit [the right hand is 2900 series] in a pair viewed from the airhorns towards the engine. 40, 42, and 45mm units will fit at center-to-center dimensions as low as 83mm provided the shafts are trimmed. 48 and 50mm units cannot be installed where the center-to-center dimension is less than 90mm without some special engineering.

Injectors to be used in these throttle bodies are Bosch, Lucas or Rochester with 14mm O-rings at both ends. Please note: Some Siemens injectors are too short. A fuel rail kit, adjustable for different manifold layouts, attaches to integral mounting points.

Each barrel has a by-pass screw for idle speed air flow adjustment. The left hand unit incorporates a 5/16 " D-drive and mounting bosses for TWM and other Throttle Position Sensors. O-rings are supplied for the manifold/throttle body interface. Ports are provided, in each barrel, for connection to a MAP sensor. MAP = Manifold Absolute Pressure.
