TWM 3000 Series throttle bodies are designed to replace the old 48 IDA carburetor which for many years was the fuel system of choice for those seeking the ultimate in V8 and Rotary engine performance.

3000 Series throttles are available in 48 and 50 mm bore sizes. Because of differing manifold layouts the 48 and 50 mm units are available with the injector pockets on either the wide or narrow side of the mounting stud pattern. The 50 mm units are also available with four pockets, particularly for rotary-engine applications. For larger sizes of four-pocket units, please see the 3002 Series in 56, 58, and 62 mm throttle plate diameters.

There is an integral fuel rail mounting allowing secure attachment of TWM's Dash 6 or Dash 10 fuel rails. We have a range of V8 throttle kits complete with manifold, air filter, and a properly designed cable linkage system. Air horns for the 48 mm throttles are available in lengths 35, 50, 65, 75, 90, 100, 115 mm. Air horns for the 50 mm unit are available in 50, 75 and 100 mm lengths.
